DIEGO ZOPPI


His qualification started in 1987, when he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in  architecture at the University of Genoa with a dissertation thesis about the renewal of the waterfront of Genoa Prà (west side of Genoa) (4 500 000 sq metres). 
This work was adopted as a rule in urban planning by the local Administration, and today it is completely realized. Today he has achieved a wide experience in several countries, starting from the renewal of Genoa’ outskirts to the design of many historical Italian towns. Subsequently he has further enhanced his experience working on a New City Design in China -- particularly (Shanghai, Nanjing, and Beijing)--, Vietnam, Slovenia and Saudi Arabia.

In the Middle East, urban planning and urban design have been done to either develop new areas or to regenerate existing urban contexts. Diego has over 20 years experience in architecture, urban design, urban planning & master planning, city design, urban regeneration, and urban strategies particularly for heritage areas, residential districts, harbour, and industrial site. Also, Diego has experience in design of public spaces like promenades, parks, waterfronts, urban spines, as well as public and private buildings for leisure, tourism, sport, education, commercial, residential and infrastructures like bridges, sport complex, marinas etc.

ANDREA MARENCO
 
Andrea has over 20 years experience in city design, urban design, urban planning & master planning, urban regeneration and urban strategies particularly for heritage areas, design of public spaces like promenades, parks, waterfronts, urban spines, as well as public and private buildings for leisure, tourism, sport, education, commercial, residential and infrastructures like bridges, stations, etc. His qualification comes from a wide experience in several countries, starting from the University of Genoa and the University of Manchester, where he gained his academic knowledge. Moreover, Andrea developed practical experience in the regeneration of congested European cities in Great Britain and Italy, which have subsequently enhanced his experience working on master planning and New City Design particularly in China, Vietnam. In the Middle East, he led urban design and architecture projects for designing new urban areas (Jeddah waterfronts and street network) and regenerating existing urban contexts (Riyadh City Centre)

Andrea’s work focuses on the design and regeneration of the urban environment, paying great interest in the understanding of the existing context with the objective to manage any design strategy with a comprehensive approach. 
MARINA BONACASA

Marina has over 15 years of experience in urban design, master planning, detail design and construction management. She has been involved in large-scale urban design and development projects in Italy, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, China, and Vietnam. She has been working for several years especially in public spaces, building design, and cost estimation.
Marina’s work focuses on the understanding and enhancement of the existing context both in buildings and in urban environment design.

Specialized in fire prevention design and in building energy conservation.
