Client: Maissana City Council
Subject: Colors Masterplan
Project: AR&P with A.Boccardo, N.Silvano
Size: 48.300 sqm
The 2003 italian law "Colored towns" aims to preserve and enhance decor of elevations facing public streets, as representative of a common heritage and a resource to be improved.
Campore old town is a compact set of houses built on a promontory on the hillside, with an almost orthogonal road network.
The town has many old buildings that have the characteristics typical of the area, as facades plastered with a mixture of lime and jasper sand, which gives them a typical pinkish or purplish red.
